Marlborough Mustangs Farm
We are located just outside Ottawa,our Nation’s Capital. Nearby you can find the scenic village of Merrickville, the old railway town of Smiths Falls and the heritage town of Perth. These towns and villages are located along the Rideau Canal, a 202 km man-made waterway with 45 locks. It is the oldest continuously operational canal in North America. It was opened in 1832 as both a military requirement and to allow the transport of goods easily.
Rideau Canal is the oldest operational canal and was designated a World heritage Site in 2007. 7.8 km of the canal is used for skating in the winter making it the largest skating rink in the world!
Our farm is the original farm on our road, thus it is called Campbell Road after the original settlers. It is one of several farms belonging to the O’Grady family, who crop much of the land as well as raise Suffield Mustangs and Australian Shepherds. In 2010 we opened Campbell Road Veterinary Services on our farm.
Our home farm consists of 400 acres of a mix of prime farm land and rocky Canadian Shield pasture. Scenic and peaceful, our area is know for artists and skilled craft people while being located just outside of Ottawa, our nation’s capital.
